The HelloTMT Initiative CONTINUES with our second installment of The Creator's Hangout! This goes out to all you new/not so new/any YouTubers who are interested and yes, this will require some reading.
WHAT IS THIS & how do you be a part of it? (Or more importantly, WHY should you?)
"The Creator's Hangout" is our HelloTMT initiative to connect and help the community of YouTubers. Whether you're a vlogger, short film writer or even a musician, as long as you create content on YouTube and we know many of you do, we wanna try and build this community. That's the reason why we started HelloTMT. We realized that we've been very blessed and fortunate to be able to have the influence we have today, and we wanna try and share it out as much as we can.
Our first Hangout saw an awesome collaboration of 5 channels and we have to say, we've definitely been impressed with the videos that have came out of it - even we can't pull off the type of collabs they've done. So good job to Hangout #1, (The Salad Show, CJWorksProductions, Gabe Lee, Epic Makan Time, DaDiDumTV) you guys are the first grads of this initiative! (Don't worry, you're not gonna be done just yet)
For our second Creator's Hangout, its gonna be done online again.
- We're opening FIVE slots for FIVE different YouTubers to have a small Google Hangout with us and each other to talk about and get to know what you guys are doing.
- For this time round, we realize that the spread of audience have increased quite a bit, so we'll give some priority to Creators that are based in Malaysia (PJ, KL). (BUT If there ARE enough a number of you applying from Singapore - we'll try and make something happen too!)
SO, what do you need to do to be a part of it?
1. You need to be an owner of a YouTube account that makes content (duh)
2. You gotta have a Google+ account, this is where we're gonna be meeting you guys for this hangout.
3. THIS POINT IS IMPORTANT:
- Its a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE basis so that means the first few channels who submit their names to us, get the hangout slot.
- Submit your details to THIS PAGE'S MESSAGE FEATURE, you can leave a message (state your name, YouTube Channel and email) and we'll contact you should you be chosen.
- REMEMBER, your COMMENTS on this picture will NOT COUNT as a submission.
4. We'll provide the details about the hangout to you if you're selected (time, day, date, etc). If you can't make that hangout or fail to respond, we'll pass the slot to the next person in line. If you don't comply with the mentioned criteria, we'll pass the slot to someone else as well.
5. Have fun. That's what YouTube's supposed to be about. Don't worry, we're thinking of live-streaming the hangout so everyone can be a part of it too!
